Consumer Warrantees, Guarantees & refunds

Understanding your Rights under Australian Consumer Law


The Australian Consumer Law protects consumers by giving them certain guaranteed rights when they buy goods and services. These rights, which the Law says automatically apply whenever goods or services are supplied to a consumer, are called 'Consumer Guarantees'.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and failure does not amount to a major failure.

Returns Policy

If you are able to provide a receipt or other satisfactory proof of purchase, we may offer you a repair, exchange or refund if:

Goods are damaged or faulty through no fault of your own

Goods are supplied incorrectly  

Goods vary from their description on the website (or any sample provided)

Please choose carefully as we can’t provide you with a refund or exchange if you simply change your mind.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us at admin@miibag.com within 30 days of delivery. Please supply us with your order number, item number and tracking number from your original confirmation e-mail. We also require your e-mail address and phone number

Returning an Item

  1. Pack the item securely in the original package, if possible.
  2. Please include your order number, billing name, and address with the item.
  3. All products must be returned in good condition, in original packaging (whenever possible), and with all paperwork to ensure full credit.
  4. All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.
  5. If you require additional protection, you can use an Insured Parcel Post for your return.

  1. Keep the Return Tracking Number (if available) from the parcel you are returning to ensure its returned to us.
  2. You can expect a refund in the same payment form used for your original purchase within 30 days of our receiving your returned product. For credit card refunds, please allow 1 or 2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement. Refunds will include product and tax amount only. If an incorrect item was shipped, or products were flawed or damaged, we will also include standard* shipping charges (charged on purchase and standard return shipping charges - please provide a commercial receipt) in your refund. *Post - not courier shipping
